To celebrate its 50th anniversary, SIPRI presents the short-film series ‘2016—A Year of Reflection’.
This series of films will focus on SIPRI—its people and its work—and the building of a more peaceful future. The first film, ‘Rising to the Challenge of Peace’, features SIPRI Director Dan Smith discussing long term security challenges, including the rise of global inequalities, competition for natural resources, climate change and patterns of world power. More films will be released throughout the year.
