Muy interesante, documentado y argumentado el análisis que recomendaba Nacho Torreblanca el 23 de febrero sobre la crisis en Europa y la respuesta a la misma, escorada claramente a favor de la austeridad.

Southern Eurozone countries have been forced to introduce severe austerity programs since 2011. Where did the forces that led these countries into austerity come from? Are these forces the result of deteriorating economic fundamentals that made austerity inevitable? Or could it be that the austerity dynamics were forced by fear and panic that erupted in the financial markets and then gripped policymakers. Furthermore, what are the implications of these severe austerity programs for the countries involved?

Las preguntas a las que respondían Paul De Grauwe y Yuemei Ji el 21 February 2013  en su análisis para Vox son decisivas para diagnosticar el estado actual del enfermo y mantener o cambiar el tratamiento. Es evidente que el tratamiento dado hasta ahora deja bastante que desear por razones como las que los autores señalan en su conclusión.
