¿Cuáles son los conflictos más graves a comienzos de 2013? En el balance del año y en las previsiones de 2013 incluimos numerosos estudios de algunos de los principales think-tanks del mundo en los que se responde a esa pregunta.

GLOBAL CONFLICT ANALYSIS publicaba a comienzos de año su lista particular de «los diez conflictos abiertos de los que probablemente usted no haya oido hablar» y otra de «los diez países más peligrosos del mundo»:  Siria, Somalia, Afganistán, Irak, Sudán y Sur Sudán, Yemen, Pakistán, Haití, Níger y Honduras. Los presentaba así:
