Being able to be a part of the MPS Journalism program allowed me to expand my knowledge base with regard to the proficiencies that are expected of journalists in today’s industry.

We are proud to feature Paul Rigney as our July MPS Journalism Alum of the Month. A 2010 graduate of the program, he is currently working as a video journalist for C-SPAN and was recently sent to Moore, Oklahoma to cover the aftermath of the deadly tornadoes that ravaged the area this spring. In this month’s feature, Paul reflects on this eye-opening experience, his love for Game of Thrones and gives advice to current students and recent alums.
