A moderate recovery is underway in the major advanced economies, with growth proceeding at encouraging rates in North America, Japan and the UK, the OECD said in its latest Interim Economic Assessment. The euro area has exited recession, but remains fragile, while growth has slowed in some of the large emerging economies, pointing to sluggish near-term growth globally.
