In his new biography, Zbig: The Life of Zbigniew Brzezinski, America’s Great Power Prophet, journalist Edward Luce details the life story of President Jimmy Carter’s national security advisor. But he also explores how Brzezinski’s policies deeply impacted the Cold War.
So, today, what is Brzezinski’s legacy? Is the era of grand strategists such as Brzezinski and his great rival, Henry Kissinger, over? If so, what power do institutions like the National Security Council have to shape U.S. foreign policy?
Join FP’s Ravi Agrawal for a discussion with Luce about his book and why Brzezinski still matters today.
