The midterm elections are coming up in the U.S. at a time when partisan divides feel more extreme than ever. Americans normally face one of two choices at the ballot box: Democrat or Republican. But a new Pew Research Center report says that most voters feel their political and cultural identities are not aligned with the two major parties. Jocelyn Kiley is a Director of Research at the organization. She tells Hari Sreenivasan that the real political scene in America is far more nuanced.
