CPJ: 2016 International Press Freedom Awards Overview
The Committee to Protect Journalists honored journalists from Egypt, India, Turkey, and El Salvador with its 2016 International Press Freedom Awards. Since 1981, CPJ has worked to promote press freedom and defend the rights of journalists to report the news without fear of reprisal.
